MEMBERSHIP INFO FOR THE 2011 SEASON
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

A: Membership fees must be paid prior to the event. If not paid, the points earned will not be counted toward year-end awards. Membership can be applied for (and paid via separate check or cash) on the day of the event. In this scenario, the points earned at the event will count.
B: Types of Membership:
$25.00 1. Adult/Individual - Anyone wishing to show in Open or Amateur division classes and earn points toward year-end awards. Open Division classes require both the Owner and Exhibitor have current memberships to be eligible for year-end awards.
$10.00 2. Youth - Oklahoma Jr. Paint Horse Club - Exhibitors/Owners 18 years or younger as of Jan 1st. Points earned will count only in Youth classes. (If parents of youth are OPHC Members, the youth's points will count in any Open classes the youth enters. If youth's parents are not club members and youth wishes to show in Open classes for points, youth must have also have an Individual membership.
$40.00 3. Husband/Wife joint membership – Both names must be submitted on the application. Points earned by either person will count towards year-end awards in Open classes. In Amateur classes, the APHA rule of horse owner/exhibitor applies.
C: In the case of joint ownership, all owners must be members and those names specified on the Membership Application Form. If all owners are not listed and do not have individual memberships, the points earned will not count toward year-end awards.
D: In the case of a horse owned by a business entity ( XYZ Trust, ZZ Farm, etc), one person must be designated as the “Representative” on the Membership Application Form. The “Representative” and exhibitor (if not the same person) must have current memberships before the points earned will count toward year-end awards.
D: In the case of a leased horse, the lease holder must be a member and the lease must be filed with the APHA in accordance with RG-085 or the 2010 APHA rule book.
E: It is the members' responsibility to make sure their Memberships are paid and recorded properly.
