Well, I think it is safe to say that Spring has Sprung and I hope everyone is enjoying this great weather and working their horses. The March show was a great success and the numbers where up from last year. I would like to send out a special thanks to Jo Long, who did an exceptional job as our new show secretary. I have received several compliments on how efficient and courteous she was to the exhibitors. Another huge Thank You goes to Jeff Beadles and Pat Riley for providing the jumps for our newly added Over Fences classes. The generosity provided by these two guys saved the club a huge investment.
 

The next show is the Oklahoma Twister Circuit on April 19-20 in OKC. We will have a full slate of classes and 2 judges on Saturday, followed by a 2 judge Youth/Amateur POR on Sunday. The show bills can be found in this newsletter as well as our website www.oklahomaphc.com. Every class winner will receive a prize and we have really "cool" Hi-Point Awards for this show.
 

Our Annual Awards Banquet will be held Saturday night, April 19th at 8:00pm, in Barn 3 following the show. For those of you who attended last year, you know this new format proved to a fun and exciting time for all. Along with presenting awards to all of our Year-End Award winners, Sportsmanship and Volunteer of the Year Awards, we will have CASH door prizes, a game called "President Challenges Youth" and karaoke so everyone can practice up for the next "American Idol" competition! This will be an event you will not want to miss! A reservation form can be found in this newsletter as well. I look forward to seeing everyone at the 'Twister Circuit'.
